They also introduced the first solo “Duffo” record from Australian big-band vocalist Jeff Duff. Later in the decade and the early 1980s, strikes with Tubeway Army and Gary Numan procured the label’s future. The first band on the label was that the English punk set the Lurkers; the first release on the label was that the Lurkers’ 7″ only “Shadow”/”Love Story.”
